My Fairyland

This is a  work with 15 chapters and over 25 characters (with many colour and black and white illustrations) which run through the whole to do with another world and all that goes on! There are fairies and elves and a brownie and a dwarf and much humour. There is a Giant and his cronies and of course there is a Fairy King and Queen and their nephew, a dashing Prince, who marries Fey, one of the grey fairies and so there is a marvellous wedding.

Comedy comes into the work with Busy Body, a hyperactive pixie, and there are the Dormat Demons and the funny but rather ghastly Glug Family who live in the fairy sewers. Mollie Blobs is a whacky fairy who lives in marsh land and writes poetry. She is friends with the brother elves, Trooly and Rooly who live in a commodious modernised mushroom house.

There are many adventures where Trooly and Rooly meet Ratbag, a sea sailor rat and also The King of the Eastern Court. The Wizard gets a bit mixed up in his magic and brings a visitor from a future century ‘Puss in Boots’ who charms everyone with his wonderful clothes and his dancing with the Fairy Queen. Lucinda Tansy is a modern type sprite who turns around “The Corner Candle Shop” which belongs to Blinks the Brownie and they marry.

The Birthday Fairy is another sweet little character who is an orphan and the Fairy Queen takes her under her wing in every way, and there is a baby black russian bear who adores the King and follows him every where.
